A.VOGEL AVENA SATIVA TINCTURE - also known as oats.

Avena Sativa (oat) has been used for centuries as both a food and a remedy. Alfred Vogel knew that when the oats are just breaking into flower and the seeds beginning to form, the plant is richest in its active ingredients. The oats used in this tincture are grown organically and have been harvested at the time of optimum potency.

Avena Sativa has been used traditionally as a nerve tonic: it is the seeds of the oats that are used.

Fresh oats contain high levels of Vitamin B, minerals and other nutrients. These are recognised to be important and beneficial for the proper functioning of the nervous system. The balance of constituents present in oats probably accounts for the restorative benefits in depression, states of debility and exhaustion - and the traditional use as a nerve tonic.

Ingredients:
Tincture of organically grown fresh aerial parts of Avena sativa (Oats), extracted in alcohol ( 51%v/v)

Directions for use:
Adults: 20 drops 2 or 3 times daily in a little water.
Children (2-12 years): 1 drop per year of age 2 or 3 times daily in a little water.
This product is not recommended for children under 2 years of age.
