Gastrointestinal Silicea has a medical device licence for the treatment of gastrointestinal illness. The original Silicea Gel is excellent for reducing symptoms of digestive inflammation by buffering the intestinal tract so that food can't irritate it as it passes. It also reduces inflammation already present and provides silica to help heal the lining of the digestive tract. The NEW FORMULA contains 20% MORE silicon dioxide than our current Silicea Gel, providing a thicker barrier between the intestinal lining and food to reduce its acidity still further before it comes into contact with the intestinal lining, meaning less irritation and inflammation.
