This mushroom has a unique bearded appearance and has long been considered a prized ingredient in cooking, often used as a substitute for chicken. It is typically found growing on beech trees in North America, Europe, and Asia. In recent years, Lions Mane has gained popularity due to its impressive properties, as supported by scientific research. A class of compounds produced by the mushroom, known as hericenones and erinacines, have been found to stimulate the production of NGF (nerve growth factor). This plays a crucial role in the survival and regeneration of nerve cells, as well as potentially protecting pancreatic and immune cells.
Each 1ml/20 drops contains a traditionally prepared hot water extract of Hericium erinaceus/Lion’s Mane fruit bodies, equivalent to 250mg of dried Lion’s Mane, in a base of vegetable glycerine 70%.
This product does not contain mycelia or growing medium, only whole fruit bodies.
The Lion’s Mane is cultivated in China.
For general purpose take 20 drops/1ml in a little cold water, three times a day. It can also be added to food, juices, smoothies, sauces etc. It can be added to hot or cold water. It is perfectly safe to increase or decrease the amount you take daily. Children may take the same amount.
