5-HTP (5-hydroxytryptophan) is a derivative of the essential amino acid, tryptophan, which is found in high protein foods and also the African plant Griffonia simplicifolia.

Each tablet typically provides:
5-Hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) 50mg (from Griffonia simplicifolia)
Bulking Agents (Dicalcium Phosphate, Microcrystalline Cellulose), Griffonia Extract (5-Hydroxytryptophan, from Griffonia simplicifolia), Anti-caking Agents (Stearic Acid*, Silicon Dioxide) Magnesium Stearate* *From vegetable source.

As a supplement, take one to two tablets daily, half an hour before bedtime.
