Solgar Niacin 500mg 100 Vcaps

Niacin is Vitamin B3, a coenzyme that assists in the breakdown of carbohydrates, fats and proteins.

Niacin is essential for the health of the skin, tongue and digestive system.

The disease pellegra is a result of a Niacin deficiency.

Niacin is water-soluble and is not stored in the body. It must be replaced daily and any excess is excreted.

Each Solgar Niacin 500mg Vegicap contains:
500mg Niacin
Bulking Agents: polysorbate 80, medium chain triglycerides, Softgel Capsule Shell: gelatin (from bovine), vegetable glycerin (from palm oil and palm kernel oil), Nutri-Nano™ Coenzyme Q-10 (ubiquinone). Colours: paprika, titanium dioxide

Take 1 Solgar Niacin Tablet daily, preferably at mealtimes, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
Niacin can cause flushing in sensitive people. To avoid this, start at no more than 100mg per day and then gradually increase dosage to whatever level has been indicated.
Niacinamide has an identical vitamin function as Niacin but does not cause flushing.
